- Silly mistakes will KILL me. I went back and redid the problems I got wrong and I was able to get over 80% of them right the second time. Careless mistakes occur for two reasons, misreading the question or calculation errors. Thankfully I’m answering the right question, I just don’t calculate it properly…. So f*ing frustrating……. I knew something was up when I had over 3 minutes left on quant. The questions felt way too easy. Turns out I only had two 700-800 level questions during the entire test.
A pattern I’m starting to notice is that I get into these ruts where I answer 4-5 questions in a row incorrectly. That just absolutely wrecks my score.
So how to cure the silly mistakes?
Stop making them. I tried pushing through the problems really quickly this time because I ran out of time on the previous test. I have to pace myself a little better.
