Some things I didn’t get around to posting.
- Studying for the GMAT has become a disaster. I’m not sure what phase or week I’m on now as I’ve been too tired and lazy these last couple of weeks. Most of the motivation has been sapped by work, some by the Lakers, and the rest due to other projects/stuff. I’m going to sign up for the test this week so that I’ll have something to pressure me into studying, not that I don’t already have a good reason. See next point.
- Work has made me realize, again, that I’m not going to be a developer in 5-10 years. I just don’t have that passion to do it in the long run so there needs to be a backup plan ala bschool or selling tacos in HK or burgers in Taiwan. For the time being, I’m trying to learn what I can while getting the job done.
- Auto flush toilets are a literally a PITA. They’re great at the urinal because you don’t have to touch the handle. However, auto flushing is a bitch when the sensor triggers a flush because you’ve leaned forward to wipe the butt which leaves your butt all wet. Then you lean back in anger, then lean foward again to wipe, and then you get sprayed again. The trick to tricking the sensor is to place a piece of toilet paper in front of the sensor so that it doesn’t do anything till you remove the toilet paper. Hopefully this advice will save you from getting a wet butt. Your welcome.
- Memorial weekend was fun. Got my drink on on Saturday with some old friends which made for a fun night but a terrible Sunday. My second piece of advice: drink water while you booze. I totally forgot about that one.
- Mochi is a woman now. She started bleeding all over the place and it’s disgusting. It’s funny how she’s moody, grumpy, and depressed, just like a real woman! Poor thing. We’d invest in some diapers but I think we’re going to spay the girl since we don’t plan on breeding.
- I’ll be teaching a basic computer class for the next six Saturdays. It’s going to be an interesting experience that hopefully will be rewarding not just for myself but for the students as well.
i think going to HK to flip burgers is a great idea. do it do it…
btw…i win!!
