This week was more of rest week as I lost a some motivation with stuff going on at work and other personal stuff. I managed to get in about three hours of studying done by working the Bin 4 (difficult) and Bin 3 (medium-difficult) quant problems in the PR 2007 GMAT book.
The Bin 4 questions were definitely difficult for me as I went 13 for 26. Not very good. The majority of the questions that I got wrong were data sufficiency questions. What a big suprise. I did a little better with the Bin 3 questions, answering 75% of the questions correctly. Once again, the DS questions killed me.
Aside from DS questions, my other weak areas seem to number theory, geometry knowledge (properties of circles in particular), and taking too much time to answer the questions. Quant doesn’t seem too bad if I can get these areas down.
Phase 2 begins this week. I’ll start off with reviewing the verbal section in the Kaplan book while also doing at least an hour or two of math.
